Analytics Overview

Last updated: April 11, 2026

The Analytics page is a dashboard designed to help you monitor how well inBuild's AI is performing when processing invoices and syncing them to Procore. From this page, you can track AI accuracy across multiple matching dimensions, review processing speed, measure total invoice volume, and drill into individual invoice-level scores.

This page is not where you approve, edit, or sync invoices. It is a read-only reporting view focused on AI performance measurement across your organization's invoice pipeline.

The Analytics page is available only to users with the Procore Company Admin role. If you do not have this role, you will see the message "You do not have access to this page." Contact your company administrator if you need access.

What You'll Find on the Analytics Page

The Analytics page is organized into several sections, from top to bottom:

  1. 📄 Filtering Analytics Data— A filter bar at the top of the page that controls which invoices are included in every metric, chart, and table row below it.

  2. 📄 Understanding Analytics Metric Cards— A row of summary cards showing high-level performance indicators: perfect match rate, documents archived before syncing, total volume processed, average total amount error (WMAPE), and mean/median processing times.

  3. 📄 Understanding AI Match Score Cards— Five cards, one for each AI matching dimension (Line Item, Invoice Number, Vendor ID, Project ID, and Commitment ID), each showing the average match percentage and a color-coded distribution bar.

  4. 📄 Reading the Analytics Trend Charts— Two bar charts that show AI match scores and perfect match rates over time, with configurable time groupings.

  5. 📄 Using the Analytics Invoice Table— A detailed row-by-row breakdown of every invoice the AI has processed, including individual field-level accuracy scores and amounts.

Accessing the Analytics Page

  1. Click Analytics in the main sidebar navigation.

  2. The dashboard loads and displays all available invoice data for your company. A loading overlay appears while data is being fetched.

If you see the message "You do not have access to this page," your account does not have the Procore Company Admin role. No data will be loaded, and no metrics or charts will appear.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I see "You do not have access to this page"?

The Analytics page requires the Procore Company Admin role. If you do not have this role, the page will not load any data. Contact your company administrator to request access.

Why don't the metric cards and charts change when I type in the Search field?

The Search field above the invoice table is a table-only filter. It filters the rows displayed in the table but does not affect the metric cards, score cards, or trend charts. To filter all sections of the page, use the Vendor, Project, or Date Range filters at the top of the page.

Why do my filters disappear after I refresh the page?

Filter selections are stored temporarily in your browser session. Refreshing the page or navigating away resets all filters to their defaults: All Vendors, All Projects, and no date range.

What does "N/A" mean for a score?

An "N/A" score means the AI did not produce a match score for that particular dimension on that invoice. This can occur when a dimension does not apply to the invoice type. For example, the Commitment ID Match score is only relevant for subcontractor invoices, so direct cost invoices will show "N/A" for that field.

Can I edit or sync invoices from the Analytics page?

No. The Analytics page is a read-only reporting dashboard. To edit, approve, or sync invoices, navigate to the appropriate invoice management area in inBuild.
